Myanmar’s artist wins Gold Award, two artists from Nepal also secure place



KATHMANDU: Myanmar’s watercolor artist Thein Shwe Kyi has won the Gold Award for the International Juried Online Watercolor Exhibition. The award carries a purse of US Dollar 400.

Creations by two artists from Nepal have also won the awards. Nepal’s Damodar Baral is to be awarded the Balla International Award carrying a purse of US Dollar 250 while Bishwo Raj Parajuli has been announced as the winner of Canfield Youth Award carrying a purse of US Dollar 50.

The selected arts to be presented in the 1st International Juried Online Watercolor Exhibition scheduled to be held from December 10-30 by the ArtsMate International in association with the NB Gurung Art Studio Nepal, according to program coordinator NB Gurung.
