KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal has said he would not participate in the meeting of the UML Far-Western Provincial Committee.

He also dubbed the meeting as “illegal and invalid”.

This shows that the growing controversy over the CPN-UML’s in-charge of the Far Western Province will continue.

Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal, who was dissatisfied with the demand for implementation of the 10-point agreement, said that all the meetings against the agreement were illegal.

In a tweet on Tuesday morning, Rawal said, “The meeting of the (Far West) Provincial Committee is contrary to the 10-point agreement. This is an example of factionalism. This meeting and its decisions are invalid.”

Rawal has been objecting to the removal of the in-charge of the far-western states saying that the committee and responsibilities of the former UML will remain the same.
