Matters of national security require collective consensus: Defense Minister Rijal



KATHMANDU: Minister of Defense Dr. Minendra Rijal has said national security was an issue requiring collective consensus.

Talking to media at Biratnagar Airport Saturday, Dr. Rijal, recalling he had worked in the National Security Drafting Committee in the past, said the national security policy would be in the interest of the nation.

Stating that the Nepal Army (NA) was regarded highly in the world, Minister Dr. Rijal said the NA did outstanding work by staying on the forefront during national disasters.

Saying that the world was satisfied with NA’s performance, he expressed government’s determination to uplift the glory of the NA.
