Could not include all deserving candidates in cabinet: PM Deuba

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has confessed that he has not been able to include all capable leaders in the cabinet.

Speaking at a book launch program at Baluwatar on Saturday, PM Deuba remarked that many capable leaders could not be included in the cabinet despite his wish to include them.

“The cabinet is complete on Friday. However, being the PM of a coalition government I could not include all capable leaders in the cabinet,” he said, adding “I am saddened by this.”

PM Deuba promised to give appropriate responsibilities in the days to come.

The NC President was speaking at a program organized to launch a book Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala: Century Reference Book.

Deuba had expanded the cabinet on Friday, 88 days after he was appointed prime minister.
