MCC delegation calls on Unified Socialist Chair Nepal



KATHMANDU: A delegation led by Fatima Sumar, vice president of Department of Compact Operations of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), met Chairperson of CPN-Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal Thursday.

A team including Sumar, who arrived in Kathmandu Thursday morning, met with Chairman Nepal, leaders Pramesh Hamal and Gangalal Tuladhar at Unified Socialist Parliamentary Party Office at Singha Durbar, a leader said.

Earlier in the day, the MCC delegation called on UML Chairman KP Oli at his residence in Balkot, Bhaktapur.

Leader Nepal has been giving public statements against endorsing the compact in its present form.
