Nepal records 3,651 new COVID-19 cases, 22 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 959 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 3,651 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,609 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 1,042 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 624 persons in Kathmandu, 165 in Lalitpur, and 170 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 959 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 22 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,784 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
