UML task force meeting concludes for today, dispute resolution within a couple of days



KATHMANDU: The fifth day’s meeting of ruling CPN-UML’s task force formed to narrow down the misunderstandings and retain party unity has ended without making formal announcement Friday evening.

According to UML sources, a meeting of the UML task force held at the Ministry of Finance in Singha Durbar ended without any formal declarations to be made for the day.

The meeting attended by leaders of both factions of the party discussed the draft prepared by task force members Dr. Bhim Rawal and Bishnu Poudel.

Task force member and Lumbini Province Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel said that an agreement would be reached today or tomorrow.

“We are trying to resolve the dispute today or tomorrow as early as possible,” Pokharel said.
