PM Oli’s reply to SC arrogant: NC spokesperson Sharma

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma has remarked that Prime Minister KP Oli’s response to the Supreme Court is arrogant.

Commenting on the prime minister’s recent reply to SC, NC spokesperson Sharma said that PM Oli’s remark that the court’s interpretation of the constitution is unconstitutional is actually conceited.

“The Prime Minister, while answering the court Thursday, turned narcissistic,” Sharma said, adding, “The attitude however whimsical the decisions of the executives might be the court should never question them is objectionable.”

He expressed the hope that the constitutional bench will revive the constitution and will not be influenced by the immodest remarks of PM Oli.

In a written reply to the Supreme Court’s decision against the cabinet reshuffle by the Prime Minister after the dissolution of the House of Representatives, PM Oli had said that the order of the Supreme Court was unconstitutional.
