Nepal Airlines employees intensify protest

Torch NAC statutes and seek resignation of MD Poudel



KATHMANDU: The Trade Union Struggle Committee of Nepal Airlines Corporation has protested on Friday by torching the statutes of the company and demanding the resignation of the Managing Director Dim Prasad Poudel.

After the inconclusive ending of Thursday’s talks held between NAC management and the employees, the trade union organized the protest at corporation’s central office in Kathmandu Friday.

The protesting employees demanded the revocation of the privatization of NAC and also chanted various slogans including those seeking the dismissal of the managing director poudel.

They have also started a sit-in from Friday.
