11 gamblers land in police net



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 11 gamblers at Changunarayan municipality-2, Duwakot.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team deployed from Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur arrested 11 gamblers including 41-year-old Dipesh Bhandari of Dolakha Melung rural municipality-6, currently staying at Foksingtar, on Thursday.

Meanwhile, police seized three packs of playing cards along with Rs 24,240 in cash from Bhandari’s room.

Police said they are investigating the after taking them under control.
