Former Maoist Center leaders going to EC today



KATHMANDU: Former CPN (Maoist Center) leaders led by former Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa are going to the Office of the Election Commission (EC) today.

They have filed a complaint at the EC demanding scrapping of the CPN (Maoist Center).

Leaders Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Mani Thapa and Prabhu Sah who defected to CPN-UML from the CPN (Maoist Center) are heading to the EC at 11 am today.

They had lodged a complaint at the EC on Wednesday demanding scrapping of the Maoist Center.

They are going to the EC to take status of their complaint lodged at the EC, said UML Standing Committee Member Mani Thapa.
