Landslide disrupts Parbat-Baglung section of Mid-Hill Highway



KATHMANDU: The Parbat-Baglung road section of the Mid-Hill Highway has been disrupted for the last three days due to landslides.

The road section has been disrupted after landslides occurred at Kushma municipality-8, Sundarkhola, Churabhir and Nayanpul of ward no 2.

Traffic Police Chief of Parbat Krishna Khadka said the debris fallen at Chuwa and Sundarkhola has been removed except for the one at Nayanpul. According to Khadka, it might take some more days to clear the debris at Nayanpul.

The works are underway to remove the debris to clear the way.

With the road disruption, the connection between Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi and Mustang has been disputed.
