Speaker Sapkota invites PM, political leaders for Friday meeting



KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota will be meeting with leaders of major political parties on Friday to discuss contemporary issues.

The Speaker has written to the leaders of political parties represented in the dissolved House of Representatives (HoR) including CPN (UML) Chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inviting them for the discussion.

According to Speaker’s media expert Shreedhar Neupane, the incumbent Prime Minister, former Prime Ministers, and leaders of all political parties in the dissolved HoR have been invited to the meeting.

The meeting has been scheduled to be held at the Lhotse Hall of the Federal Parliament Building, New New Baneshwor on Friday afternoon.

Prior to this, the Speaker held a meeting with former Speakers and legal practitioners in the aftermath of the dissolution of the HoR for the second time.
