Nepal records 4,344 new COVID-19 cases, 81 deaths in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 4,344 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,449 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 895 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 679 persons in Kathmandu, 151 in Lalitpur, and 85 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 1,226 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 81 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 5,768 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
