Hearing scheduled for Thursday

Speaker Adhikari reached at the Supreme Court on Tuesday afternoon, and filed a petition seeking annulment of the interim order saying that the decision of the province assembly to dismiss lawmaker Thapa was legal.

Separate petitions have been filed against the interim order on behalf of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat and the Rastriya Janamorcha Nepal.

Earlier, a single bench of Justice Kumar Chudal had ordered Thapa’s reinstatement to the post of lawmaker claiming the dismissal would result in a massive loss of wealth to both the lawmaker Thapa and the nation.
