Two succumb to coronavirus at BPKIHS in Dharan



DHARAN: Two coronavirus-infected persons died while undergoing treatment at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.

According to Dr. Chudamani Pokharel, co-spokesperson of the Institute, a 62-year-old man from Itahari and a 79-year-old man from Morang Sundaraharaincha succumbed to coronavirus.

He said the 79-old-man died at around 6 am on Wednesday morning.

Likewise, the 62-year-old man from Itahari died at 3.25 am.

Meanwhile, 219 infected people have died while undergoing treatment at the Institute so far.
