Bibeksheel Sajha Party postpones general convention

KATHMANDU: The general convention of the Bibeksheel Sajha Party, set to be held in the last week of May, has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The party had during the unification between the then Bibeksheel Nepali Dal and Sajja Party in November last year announced that the party’s general convention of the unified party would be held within six months, party’s Spokesperson Sharad Raj Pathak said.

However, the party’s central committee meeting held on Saturday decided to postpone the general convention due to the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

The meeting has also decided that another date of the general convention will be fixed by the Central Committee after the situation becomes normal.
