JANAKPURDHAM: Following the increasing number of corona virus cases, the government of Province-2 has appointed additional human resources at the hospitals of the province in order to ease treatment of Covid-19 patients.
According to the Social Development Ministry, a decision was taken to appoint additional human resources at different hospitals including Provincial Hospital, Janakpurdham, Narayani Hospital, Birgunj, and Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Rajbiraj.
The Ministry has given responsibility to the concerned hospitals to appoint human resources for six months.
The Provincial Hospital, Janakpurdham, has appointed 128 more human resource while Narayani Hospital appointed 19 more human resources.
Similarly, Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital appointed eight more human resources.
According to the Ministry, additional human resources have been provided to Bhardaha Hospital, Saptari, Pokhariya Hospital, Parsa, as well as hospitals in Siraha, Jaleshwor, Malangawa, Gaur, Kalaiya and Lahan.
The Province-2 government has provided 33 human resources for Provincial Public Health Lab, Janakpurdham.
