Kathmandu Valley sees 129 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 129 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there have been 117 cases in Kathmandu, nine in Lalitpur and three in Bhaktapur in past 24  hours.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 288 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,73, 735 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 2,615 reported  active cases of the virus.

There had been the 4071 PCR tests in the past 24 hours.

There has been no coronavirus related death death in past 24 hours. The coronavirus related death toll is 3,038 as of Friday afternoon.
