PM Oli hell-bent on capturing state power: NC President Deuba

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has alleged Prime Minister KP Oli of trying to capture the state power.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu Friday, NC President Deuba said, “PM Oli is hell-bent on capturing the state power.”

He, however, hastened to add that PM Oli’s attempt will go astray.

Deuba urged all political parties to work towards PM Oli’s ouster saying, “It’s high time that all political parties stood together to oust PM Oli.”

The NC President also urged people to be ready for the upcoming election saying, “Possibilities of early elections cannot be ruled out.”

Stating that NC will not shy away from the election, Deuba said, “We need to be prepared to go to the people as well.”

Deuba also said NC lost the last election as the people did not vote for the party. “Now that people have realized the need of NC’s leadership in the government, we will prove to be the strongest party in the upcoming election,” he added.
