IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers today



DELHI: The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is taking place from today. Defending champion Mumbai Indians is taking on Royal Challengers in the first match. The match will begin at 7:45 pm in Chennai.

Last year, Bangalore had managed to reach play-offs but then was deprived of reaching the final. Mumbai Indians is captained by Rohit Sharma while Bangalore is led by Virat Kohli.

The match will run for 52 days and the final will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. All the matches will take place in six cities – Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.

A total of 60 matches will be held.

Spectators are not allowed to enter the stadium, with the increasing cases of COVID-19 in India.
