KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appealed to people’s elected representatives at all levels, experts and nature lovers to work to combat forest fires and help check air pollution.
In a tweet on Thursday, President Bhandari expressed concern over the rise in air pollution across the country as a result of forest fires, industrial and transport emission, with winter rain already becoming uneven due to impact of climate change.
