India’s COVID-19 cases cross 13 million

Records 802 deaths, 131,893 infection cases in past 24 hours

NEW DELHI: India recorded 131,893 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 13,057,954.

Currently, 979,519 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile,11,910,741 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 167,600-mark.

With 802 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 167,694, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
