UML-JSP form joint task force for power sharing



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) have formed a joint task force to hold talks on issues including power-sharing.

The decision to this effect was made at a meeting between the leaders of the two parties on Tuesday.

The task force includes UML Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Poudel, Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Subash Nemwang and Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr Rajan Bhattarai.

Likewise, Sarbendra Nath Shukla and Laxman Lal Karna are representing the JSP in the task force.

Party leaders Mahanta Thakur and Rajendra Mahato decided to hold talks with the CPN-UML without the consent of other party leaders, including Dr Babu Ram Bhattarai and Upendra Yadav, sources said.
