CPN-UML’s Secretariat meeting postponed



KATHMANDU: A Secretariat meeting of the newly restored CPN-UML called for Tuesday morning has been postponed, citing lack of preparations.

The Secretariat meeting had been fixed by General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel before senior leaders Madhav Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal decided to come back to their mother party.

The meeting had been scheduled for 9 am.

“The meeting has been postponed due to lack of preparations after Nepal, Khanal among other leaders decided to return to the CPN-UML,” said General Secretary Pokharel.

Led by the General Secretary, the UML’s Secretariat has two deputy general secretaries, five secretaries and an office secretary as per the provision of party statute.
