Polls would be held on time: Minister Gurung

KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Spokesperson Parbat Gurung has said that that election would be held on time because the government has already made arrangement for it.

He was speaking at a press meet organized here to make public the government decisions on Tuesday.

Minister Gurung reiterated there is no point in doubting election, he said, reminding that Cabinet has endorsed the proposal brought forth by the Security Council regarding the conduct of the election.

Gurung also reminded that the Prime Minister reached Election Commission on Tuesday and urged the officials there not to delay the election process as the government was ready to create an atmosphere for it.
