KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 29.01 points on the third trading day of the week on Tuesday and closed at 2532.46 points.

Likewise, the Sensitive Index fell by 8.49 points to 461.70 points.

A total of 15.9 million shares of 194 companies were traded at a turnover of Rs 8.14 billion today.

The banking sub-index fell by 9.42, trade is 49.49, hotel by 32.86, hydropower by 29.76, non-life insurance by 237, manufacturing by 98.94, others by 33.68, microfinance by 128.27, life insurance by 274, and collective investment by 0.02 points today.

The indices of Development Bank increased by 25.52 points and Finance by 12.72 points.
