Kathmandu Valley sees 79 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 79 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 67 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 5 in Bhaktapur, and 7 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 160 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 272,215 in the country as of Tuesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 1,737 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 165 from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 268,431 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, two more persons succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,047.
