NC demonstrating in 330 provincial constituencies against HoR dissolution today



KATHMANDU: Main opposition Nepali Congress is staging demonstrations in all the 330 provincial constituencies against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Saturday.

A Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the NC held on January 3 had decided to hold further demonstrations in the country. Earlier, it had demonstrated against the HoR dissolution in 165 constituencies on December 28.

Top-notch leaders of the NC are addressing protest rallies in various constituencies. President Sher Bahadur Deuba is addressing a mass meeting in province (B) under the Kathmandu constituency-5.

Senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel is addressing a mass meeting in province (B) under the Kathmandu constituency-7. Similarly, Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma is scheduled to address a protest rally at the Exhibition Road under province (A) of the Kathmandu constituency-6.

Likewise, former General Secretary Prakash Man Singh will address mass meetings in both province A and B of the Kathmandu constituency-1 while Gagan Thapa will participate in both Province A and B of the Kathmandu constituency-4.

The NC has already announced protest programs in the municipal level on January 16 and in the ward level on January 21.
