America’s COVID-19 cases cross 22.4 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 22,444,872 in the United States of America after 289,625 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 8,812,875 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 13,253,912 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 378,085 with 3,850 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 1,920,754 and infected 89,322,709 globally until the filing of this news.
