CTEVT suspends admission process in 15 nursing colleges

KATHMANDU: Following the spirit of the letter from the Medical Education Commission, Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has decided to suspend the admission process of 15 nursing colleges.

According to sources, CTEVT decided to suspend the admission process of 15 affiliated nursing colleges after receiving the Commissions directions to take action against the colleges and institutes levying unauthorized fee from the students.

CTEVT has directed to refund the fee to the students who have already paid the ‘unauthorized’ fee under the pressure from the campus.

In addition, the technical education monitoring body has asked the students who have already started the admission process in the following colleges are advised to apply in other colleges.
