Newly appointed 16 Ministers, 2 State Ministers sworn in



KATHMANDU: The newly appointed ministers have taken oath of office and secrecy.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed 16 Ministers during a special ceremony at President’s Office, Shital Niwas, on Friday. The President’s Office said all the Ministers were sworn in in accordance with Article 80 of the Constitution.

Similarly, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba administered the oath to two newly appointed Ministers of State. Minister of State for Health Bhavani Prasad Khapung and Minister of State for Education, Science and Technology Bodh Mayakumari Yadav took the oath of office from the PM.
