HoR meeting taking place today

UML to disrupt

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today.

The meeting has been called at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor at 1 pm.

The main opposition CPN-UML has been obstructing House meetings. It is planning to disrupt today’s meeting, too.

Earlier, the meeting had been postponed after holding for seven minutes due to the UML protest.

The UML has been accusing Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota of playing a role in splitting the party by not relieving 14 lawmakers of their posts.

It may be recalled that the UML had boycotted an all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to resolve the parliament obstructions.
