MCC is being used to break ruling coalition: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has claimed that a conspiracy is being hatched to break the ruling alliance in the name of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Speaking at a program in the capital Wednesday, Dahal said efforts were being made to break the alliance by raising the US Assistance Project.

“Conspiracies are being hatched split the ruling coalition,” Prachanda said.

Prachanda also reiterated that the MCC will not be endorsed in its current status.

He further added that a letter was already sent to the United States to clarify the ambiguity in the agreement.
