Poudel to file candidacy for NRNA general secy



KATHMANDU:  As the election of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), the largest umbrella organization of Nepalis living outside Nepal, fast-approaches, aspiring candidates are vying for the leadership.

Candidates have been expanding their election campaign by announcing their posts by targeting the 10th general convention to be held in October.

In this regard, the former president of NRNA America, Dr. Keshav Poudel is preparing to run for the post of General Secretary of NRNA in the upcoming general convention.

The America chapter of the NRNA has the largest number of members.

“I am preparing to run for the post of general secretary this time for institutional development,” said  Dr. Poudel.

Originally from Tanahun district, Poudel said that he was going to run for the post of general secretary at this time’s general convention to establish the agenda of making NRNA with the system and transparency of the organization.

He has been living in the United States for last 17 years.
