Chitwan extends prohibitory order till August 16



CHITWAN: Chitwan district administration has extended the ongoing prohibitory order till August 16.

The District Administration Office (DAO), Chitwan, in a notice, on Sunday has said that the order has been extended until August, relaxing some restrictions on the long-route vehicles.

The ongoing restriction is expiring on today midnight.

As per the order issued today, the shops selling food vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, cooking gas and other essential items can stay open till 10 AM in the morning whereas the dairy shops can can be opened from 5 PM to 7 PM.

Similarly, other shops will be allowed to open on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 12 noon to 6 PM. Likewise, the private and public vehicles have to follow the odd even rule for their operation.

The prohibitory order has been extended saying that the active cases of COVID-19 have not gone down yet.
