UML leader Rawal praises CM Bhatt for swinging into action and winning vote

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal has congratulated Sudurpaschim Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatt for winning the vote of confidence in Province Assembly (PA) Tuesday.

Rawal admired that CM Bhatt had secured the vote in four days after the issue was raised in the PA on June 4. He said those who do not follow the procedure and rules should learn from this, hinting at Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

As many as 30 out of the 52 lawmakers stood for CM Bhatt, safely above the 27 votes required in Sudurpaschim PA to win the confidence vote. Bhatt received 17 votes from CPN-UML’s Madhav Kumar Nepal faction and 13 votes from CPN-Maoist Center.
