PM Oli pushing country into perpetual abyss under cover of nationalism: JSP leader Bhattarai

KATHMANDU: Federal Council Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said the country is sliding into a perpetual abyss due to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Talking to media person in his home district Gorkha on Monday, Dr Bhattarai said Prime Minister Oli should be overthrown from his post through the power of people saying that he is not likely to rectify himself.

Bhattarai expressed grievances saying that Prime Minister Oli turned deaf ears to his proposal to form a national consensus government.

“I had met with Prime Minister Oli few days ago and urged him to form a national consensus government. During the meeting, I also asked him to address the Madhesh issues and Tharuhat demands but he turned deaf years to my suggestions,” said Bhattarai.

Meanwhile, Oli further accused Oli of abolishing federal democratic republic in cahoots with foreign power by spreading the illusion of nationalism
