NC demands efficient management of COVID treatment in country



KATHMANDU: Stating that the government was not sensitive enough towards problems in treatment of coronavirus patients, the Nepali Congress has demanded efficient management of COVID situation in the country.

Issuing a press release Saturday, the NC stressed on importing oxygen and oxygen cylinders from abroad to cope with problems in treatment of infected patients in the country. It also demanded immediate action against those involved in creating artificial shortage of medical supplies.

The NC, in the press release, noted that patients are reeling under acute shortage of oxygen and hospitals beds and the government is not able to manage oxygen and hospital bed. It has asked the government to set up temporary COVID hospitals across the country to ensure people’s right to treatment and health.
