Taplejung seeks help from Tibet as Covid-19 cases surge



TAPLEJUNG: Taplejung, a mountainous district in Province 1, has sought help from the Tibet Government to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The district has called the bordering Dinjie County for medical assistance to curb the infection risk. The district has written the County, urging the latter to provide it 11 types of most essential supplies including disposable medical masks, antigen test kits, N-95 masks, PPEs, thermal guns, and oxygen cylinders.

District Coordination Committee chief Ghanendra Maden said they have sought help from Tibet as the Covid-19 cases are surging in the district.
