UML second-rung leaders intensify meetings to keep party united



KATHMANDU: The second-rung leaders of the ruling CPN-UML have intensified meetings to iron out intraparty differences so as to prevent the party from splitting.

The UML leaders, who took part in an elaborate discussion in Baluwatar on Friday evening, are holding a meeting even today. The interlocutors claim that the meeting held yesterday ended on a positive note.

Leaders are making preparations to brief the top-notch leaders of the party on what were discussed in the meeting yesterday and continue with the meeting on Saturday, accordingly.

Similarly, the second-rung leaders are also taking the initiative to arrange a meeting between UML party chief KP Oli and senior leader Madhav Nepal.
