PM has rights to dissolve Parliament: Minister Bhatta



DHANGADHI: Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies Lekhraj Bhatta has claimed that the Prime Minister has the right to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR).

Addressing a Province-level gathering of Press Organization Nepal, Sudurpashchim Province here today, Minister Bhatta, said that the Constitution has given such rights of dissolving the parliament when the government was not allowed to function.

Minister Bhatta, also In-charge of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Sudurpashchim Province, argued that

no one should worry while PM dissolved the Parliament as it was for seeking a fresh mandate through mid-term elections.

Similarly, addressing the same event, Minister for Labour, Employment, and Social Security Gaurishankar Chaudhary said that some leaders split the party but the party would be revived through a fresh organization reshuffle.

The party province chair Karna Thapa argued that chairman KP Sharma Oli led party was the authentic party therefore none should be confused.

The Organization In-charge Rajendra Gautam urged the media persons to write on the behalf of new mandate realizing the current political change.

On the occasion, organization former chair Rajendra Aryal, former secretary general Pramod Dahal, addressed the event.
