NEPSE index up by 37.48 points to set all-time high record

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) increased by 37.48 points on the second trading day of the week on Monday.

The stock market closed at an all-time high of 2,561.47 points.

The NEPSE index had gone up by 46 points on Sunday.

A total of 20,011,555 shares were traded through 92,079 transactions resulting in a turnover of Rs ten billion.

Shares of seven sub-indices increased, while the share of the remaining five sub-indices went down today.

The banking sub-index increased by 62.72 points, Hotels by 28.86 points, Development Bank by 82.62 points, Finance by 22.68 points, Others by 9.69 points, Life Insurance by 211.37 points, and Mutual Fund by 0.12 points.

Trading went down by 3.96 points, Hydropower by 19.63 points, Non-life Insurance by 131.92 points, Manufacturing, and Production by 74.89 points, and Microfinance by 31.42 points.
