Biplav-called strike shuts schools in five districts including Dang



KATHMANU: Educational activities have remained closed in five districts including Dang due to an educational strike announced by outlawed Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav.

Biplav outfit has called the educational strike in five districts including Dang of previous Rapti zone to protest the arrest of its student leader in Rukum West.

Issuing a press release, Anil KC, the coordinator of 24th District Convention Organization Committee, Dang of the All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary), informed about the educational strike.

Rukum West District Chairman Prem Bohara, Treasurer Dhan Bahadur Wali and other cadres Sagar Budha, Abhishek Budha, Kiran Rasaili were arrested from their own rooms while they were studying, KC said in the press statement.
