Journalists to be inoculated against COVID-19 from today



KATHMANDU:  The government is launching a second phase of COVID-19 vaccination campaign from today (Monday).

The Covishield vaccination will be administered to the journalists working in the frontline, said the Ministry of Health and Population.

The ministry is preparing to inoculate journalists against the coronavirus following inoculation to those who featured in the priority list.

Deputy Spokesperson Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari said the frontline journalists will be inoculated against the COVID-19 at Civil Hospital in New Baneshwor for five days starting today.

Journalists have produce press cards issued by the Department of Information when they go to the hospital for jabs. There are around 13,000 journalists in the country.
