America’s COVID-19 cases cross 27.6 million



WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 27,611,403 in the United States of America after 89,691 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 9,782,082 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 17,354,388 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 474,933 with 1,340 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,326,773 and infected 106,676,220 globally until the filing of this news.
