Kathmandu Valley registers 207 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 207 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 171 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 13 in Bhaktapur, and 23 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 554 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,64,159 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 5,021 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 585 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,57,229 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 6 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,909.
