Both Omicron patients in Nepal have recovered now: Ministry of Health



KATHMANDU: Two foreigners in Nepal who were confirmed of Omicron infection on Sunday have recovered from it, Ministry of Health and Population informed.

According to Dr. Krishna Prasad Poudel, with the two only cases of Omicron variant recovered on Tuesday, Nepal has no reported case of variant at present.

The Ministry of Health and Population had on Monday made public that a new variant of Corona (Omicron) has been seen in Nepal. However, they both tested negative in the test carried out on Tuesday.

The Ministry had held contact tracing of more than 66 people in this regard and had got coronavirus negative report in all.
