Prachanda on solitude to draft Maoist Center’s political proposal for national convention



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has taken to solitude from Tuesday.

According to Maoist Center sources, the Maoist center Chair chose seclusion to prepare the draft of the document to be presented at the party’s national conference.

“The constant meeting with the leaders and activists at the Khumaltar based residence has been causing nuisance for the chairman to prepare most impactful document so he has decided to be in isolation for some time,” the source said.

Generally, Prachanda visits Hattiban Resort or Sukute of Sindhupalchowk when he has to prepare a political draft or take time for holidays. However, the source did not reveal where the Maoist Chair going for solitary life this time.

“He could not prepare the report for the party’s national convention because of the crowd of leaders and activists at the residence,” Prachanda’s secretariat said, informing, “For the next two days, he (Prachanda) will be busy studying and preparing report.”

The Maoist Center is holding its national conference on December 26-28.
