Nepali team flying to Dhaka to participate in SAFF U-19 Women’s Football C’ship



KATHMANDU: Nepali football team is flying to Bangladesh today to participate in the SAFF U-19 Women’s Football Championship.

The Nepali team will leave for Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh at 1:45 pm, informed All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
The championship will be held in Dhaka from December 11 to 22.

Chief coach Hari Om Shrestha has already announced a 23-member team for the championship. Aside from Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, India and Sri Lanka are participating in the SAFF Championship.

Nepal will take on host Bangladesh on December 11, play the second match with Sri Lanka on December 15 and the third match with Bhutan on December 17.

Similarly, it will take on India in the fourth match (last) on December 19. To be played in round robin format, the top two teams will secure berth in the final.
